ECOSYSTEM DIVERSITY
As we wrap up our science unit on Ecosystem Diversity, the students made 2 habitats for a Pill bug in a choice chamber. Students observed the isopods and which habitat they preferred.
During investigations of what living things need to survive, students observed plants growing in different situations and the lifecycle of the butterfly.

A LOG’s LIFE
This week in reading we enjoyed the narrative nonfiction book A Log‘s Life. We learned about the lifecycle of a tree, and then took a walk in the woods to see the changes that happened during a log’s life in person.
