More science investigations with Earth's materials. Understanding the effects of water on sand. Learning how vegetation can protect dunes from weathering and erosion. (click on pics to enlarge)
In Science we are studying Earth's Materials. Our first investigations were about the water cycle and where Earth's water comes from. We discussed slow and quick changes to land by doing a volcano simulation. Students did a rock study to learn about Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic rocks. Weathering and Erosion were investigated by studying rock, gravel, and sand.
